Hello! I am very excited to share the Funhouse Commons expanded Vision & Mission.
Our Vision is a thriving community where every young person is welcome, supported and inspired.
Our Mission is to be a place of belonging and discovery.
And your support is how we do it!
The Funhouse Commons 501(c)(3) has been a place of belonging and discovery since 2000.
Over 20 years now, our non-profit keeps evolving to meet the needs of our community thanks to the generous gift and vision of Jim and Anne Bredouw.
In this post-pandemic world, the mental, social, emotional and cultural wellbeing of our youth and children is at the forefront of our purpose.
We continue to strive to build a healthy community by offering diverse, equitable and inclusive programming for all ages, incomes, and abilities.
In order to do this, WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT for our staffing and program needs.
We are thrilled to announce 3 New Program Initiatives:
- We have hired a full-time staff position to serve Middle and High school students to grow mentoring programs and engage youth.
- We are expanding our after-school program to meet the needs of families of Kindergartners.
- We will be providing classes, programming and connections for youth and young adults with Disabilities.
Your tax deductible donation is an investment in young people that pays exponential dividends well into the future.
On behalf of the Funhouse Commons board and staff, my deepest gratitude for your financial support!
Ryan Carpenter, Executive Director
