The Art/Skills Mentor Program is a four-month apprenticeship style mentor program. We match middle and high school youth with artists and makers in the community for one on one weekly sessions in which they develop skills, test out different mediums, and work on a project that will be shown in a public gallery show.
-
The Peer Mentor Program meets every Wednesday at the public school between 2:20-3:20. High schoolers plan and facilitate activities for the middle and high school mentor pairs. This program promotes school-connectedness and strengthens relationships within the public school.
-
The Rainbow Club is our bi-weekly meetup space for LGBTQIA+ middle and high schoolers and allies. We watch queer movies and shows, play games and hang out, creating a safe space for LGBTQIA+ youth to connect, relax and explore the intersections of their identities.
-
The Strengthening Families Program 10-14 is an evidence-based family workshop. It runs for seven weeks, and includes family dinner, breakout sessions for parents and youth, and ends a culminating family session. The program focuses on building healthy boundaries and expectations for youth who are 10-14 years old, and equips parents with the tools they need to navigate adolescence.

The Funhouse Commons presents a new after-school club, Technomages! We’ll get hands-on with technology: experimenting with electronics, building bots, coding apps and conducting teardowns in the analogue and digital world. Whether we’re programming a game, creating a gadget, or exploring the wild wonders of AI, we’ll be learning by doing. No experience? Come join the party! If you're curious about how tech works, if you love to tinker, if you want to know why tech does what it does – this club is for you!

TFAB is a collaborative group of middle and high school students who plan teen events, such as our teen movie nights and parties. They also guide and inform the Funhouse on programming, and provide necessary input on how to best engage with our middle and high school community.
