Music Classes
PRIVATE LESSONS:
Songshop Sessions: Join a musical mentor in the the Richie Moore Songshop to participate in a session of classes, where kids ages 6-18 can explore what the space has to offer - recording, drubs, keyboards, beats, electric guitar and bass, and more! These sessions are goal specific for individuals and groups who:
A. Want to dive into music but aren't quite sure where to begin
-or-
B. Have a specific musical goal in mind and need the space and some guidance to accomplish that goal (i.e. recording sessions, band practice, etc.).

Music with Miss Mary is a mixed-age, developmentally-appropriate class for babies and children up to age 5 and their caregivers. Led by Miss Mary, each class encourages active participation and learning of both kids and parents or parental figures through play, song, movement & dance, and rhythm instruments. Mary has been teaching music and movement classes for little ones since 2009 at the Funhouse, and this is one of the longest standing and well-loved classes we offer!
Stay tuned for the next session!

This class is for kids aged 6-13 who are in their first year of playing the violin and are still learning the basics. Participants in this class have some knowledge of how to hold the violin and bow, and are learning simple songs. The class is a continuation of the Funhouse Violin 1 Class from the Fall. It is also a perfect fit for kids who are playing violin at school and want to work on their skills and have fun in a smaller group. If your child has a little experience, Group Violin may be the right class for them.

Bring your singing voice and a water bottle, and be ready to learn and have fun! Kids' Chorus is a collaboration between the Music Advocacy Group and the Funhouse Commons.
